About Thomas

Currently I am studying “Business law” at Vienna’s University of Business Administration and Economics. As a citizen of Austria I live in Vienna. My objective is to be able to continue pursuing my hobby and gaining experience in new areas of photography. All of my skills are self taught using hands-on experience and books.

At a very early stage in my childhood I discovered my interest in photography. Still being a young boy, I was handed a camera at numerous occasions and told “Take a picture!”. I quickly developed a passion for photography.

Growing up, I looked deeper into the matter and developed my skills in composition, proper exposure and lighting. I am interested in a position as an assistant photographer where my skills can be utilised and new skills developed by a professional.

I am capable of using film (colour, slide, B&W) as well as digital cameras. I use Photoshop to optimise a photo to accurately reflect colours, contrast and smooth out various imperfections. It is my belief that a photo should not create an impression beyond what was originally photographed but still show the subject in a positive way - “natural but attractive” is the key.
